Do you get excited about purchasing or receiving unique and beautiful stationery?  Maybe I’m an oddball, but I truly love a beautiful card, writing on quality paper, and feeling the texture of quality stationery in my hands.  Night Owl Paper Goods has the quality stationery you would love to give or receive.  It’s squeal worthy in my opinion.  Yes, I really squealed when I received my package to review.  The presentation of your items is done in a fun way, yet has that personal touch.  And what makes me even more excited about a shop like Night Owl Paper Goods is that they they are eco-friendly, which is important to me as a consumer.

With a passion for fine craftsmanship, detail and the environment; Alan Henderson and Jennifer Tatham started Night Owl Paper Goods, a stationery company devoted to creating handmade letterpress cards and eco-chic wooden goodies.  They find their inspiration in the versatile works of Swedish and American folk artists; British haberdashers as well as, the kaleidoscope of colors and the abundance of critters Mother Nature provides on a daily basis.  They also are BIG at giving back to a variety of organizations, conservation societies and many other charitable foundations.  Night Owl Paper Goods are located in over 700 stores worldwide!

I know some of us don’t want to think that 2015 is on it’s way, but for those of us that like to plan ahead this 2015 Appointment Desk Calendar will come in very handy.  It  is not only stylish & colorful, but it takes up minimal space when used as an easel for your calendar pages.  I love the feature of a built in stand!  It not only stands up your calendar pages to view, but it also conveniently holds all the pages before you use them and if you want to save any of them, after use, as well.  The compact size of the holder is small enough that you could put it in most messenger bags, pop it in a briefcase or even toss it in your hand bag.  The pages are rich, colorful, yet clean and not too busy for my eyes.  There is a handy dandy place for notes on the back of each monthly page.  I’m hooked on this calendar!

You’ll notice, as you look clockwise at the pictures above, that there is a picture for the month of August of the 2015 Appointment Desk Calendar and also a Denim Dogwood jotter, or mini notepad.  The front and back covers are made of wood, though I don’t feel a difference in weight compared to other mini notebooks. The front cover is beautiful and rich in color, the pages between are quality paper made of 100% post-consumer recycled, acid-free paper; while the back cover has the Night Owl Paper Goods logo.

In the picture following, you will see the Denim Dogwood jotter and to the left of that a most beautiful Dolan Geiman, Quail wooden bookmark.  Dolan Geiman and Night Owl Paper Goods have collaborated to come up with some beautiful stationery and other goodies.   As a book lover I am almost afraid to use it as a bookmark because it’s so pretty. The colors are vibrant both on the front and backside of the bookmark.

The next picture is one of the reasons I squealed. I love dolphin related items, but they have to look a certain way to me for me to approve of them.  Night Owl Paper Goods nailed it in looks with their Dancing Dolphins bookmark/ruler and cards.  Again, it is made of a lovely sustainable harvested wood. The dolphins look like someone hand painted them both on the front and backside.  You get double the fun to use this both as a bookmark & a ruler.

Yes, I’m going to post these pics for those super, duper organized people who are ordering their Christmas cards.  Top left you will see a few samples of the different kinds of holiday wishes you can send out to loved ones.  I was very impressed with the rich colors, the detail,  and the overall unique style of these cards.

In the bottom main photo, there are 3 different choices for holiday wishes  Starting top left and going clockwise; we first have this adorable Santa Otters Ornament.  I love a card that can do double duty and prolong it’s usefulness.  You not only have a wooden card, but you also have an ornament to hang on your tree if you wish.   Next, is the Dolan Cardinals holiday card.  Rich in colors; it is a beautiful wooden card to give or receive.  And last, but not least, this fabulous card that shouts “JOY” loud and clear.  It is printed on eco-friendly FSC certified paper made with zero emission wind generated power.
