My kids love Angry Birds and every time a new version comes out, we are fast to download it.  Angry Birds Space is one of their favorites so they were very excited to play the new K’nex Angry Birds Space building set, Ice Bird Breakdown, sold exclusively at Toys R Us!

Now you can build and play in the World of Angry Birds Space! With the Ice Bird Breakdown building set, you can actually build and destroy a level from the Angry Birds Space game! Launch Super Red Bird and Ice Bird to defeat the evil Space pigs. Includes a working launcher just like the game, enough parts to build and knock down, and a Golden Space Egg.

The K’nex Angry Birds Space Ice Bird Breakdown building set allows you to build and destroy levels from Angry Birds Space.

The sets includes Red Bird, Ice Bird, a bonus Golden Space Egg, working launcher and enough parts to build and knock down three Evil Space Pigs.

This set is age 5+ for good reason. It can be very challenging to initially set up.  My daughter Riyan is twelve and she took on the challenge of setting up this game, a task she says is easier said than done!

I think she was intimidated with all the pieces but it kept her busy for quite some time.

Once it was all put together, the real fun began, knocking those evil space pigs off their comfy pedestals.  Riyan placed the red bird into the launcher and squealed with glee as it came crashing into the pigs!

The K’nex Angry Birds Space Ice Bird Breakdown Building Set is a lot of fun.  The kit was advanced enough to keep my older kids involved but not so much so that Kinsley didn’t get to enjoy launching the birds.  It’s was a great balance.  As always, this set keeps with the great quality you find in K’nex toys and was a big hit with my kiddo’s.
