My dogs, Charlie and Kirby, are a huge part of our family. When we adopted them, I wanted smaller dogs because I had a baby in the house. Although these pups are small, they both have a huge heart. Charlie will wrap his paws around your neck and nuzzle his nose into your neck in a huge Charlie Hug. While Charlie is the “Hugger”, Kirby is the “Kisser”. Between the two of them, you are bound to get lots of loves!
As a dog owner, I understand how important it is to provide my dogs with the best dog food for their particular size and build. Kirby, especially, is very picky with the food that he eats. He prefers wet dog food and we have had great luck with Cesar Dog Food products.
Charlie will eat anything but Kirby, not so much. Cesar sent us a few products to try and Kirby is loving the Meaty Selects. The new CESAR Meaty Selects come in a resealable 10-ounce can bursting with tender meaty chunks.
Last week’s paper had some BOGO coupons (you can score one here) so we went out and bought him some more. He just gobbles it down!
Meaty Selects can be served alone or as a delicious compliment to your dog’s favorite dry food. When transitioning from one Food for Dogs to another , please remember to introduce the new food gradually so as not to upset your dog’s stomach.
- For the first two days or so, your dog’s meals should be about 75% old food and 25% new food. Mix the two foods together, don’t keep them separated.
- If the first couple of days of the transition go smoothly, you can mix 50% of your dog’s old food with 50% of the new food on days 3 and 4.
- On days 5 and 6, your dog’s meals should be about 75% new food and only 25% of the old food.
- On day 7 let your dog enjoy 100% of the new Cesar dog food!
I am happy my furbabies are enjoying Cesar. With tender, meaty chunks, Cesar Meaty Selects is a wonderful Food for Small Dogs.
I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
