Ruffles With Love Workout Shirts {review & giveaway}

I realized a long time ago that I was never again going to weigh 100 pounds like I had in high school. Yet, just because I’m not going to be rail thin doesn’t mean I can’t be fit and healthy.

Earlier this year I took up running and CrossFit. Now when I say running, I really mean shuffling but a couch to 5K app on my Phone got me moving and I completed my first 5K in March. (I was dead last, but I finished!)

CrossFit is a pretty hardcore workout that got me toned.  The number on the scale never changed but inches started disappearing and my muscles were becoming more defined. The more I was working out, the more I became interested in wearing clothes that were not only great for working out in, but were cute to boot.  Ruffles With Love workout shirts fit the bill on both accounts!

My favorite shirt is bright blue and says ‘Too Strong to Quit‘ in bright orange and white letters.  The back even has a super cute orange bow!

I can’t even begin to count the number of times I have wanted to give up on my fit journey. Yet something deep inside always keeps me going so I knew this shirt was perfect for me.

I’ve been wearing this shirt for about two weeks now and it is my new favorite workout shirt. The sleeveless design helps me to stay cool on my runs and during my CrossFit WODs (workout of the day).   The neck scoops a little low (but not too low) so a good sports bra is a must.  You don’t want to be wearing that old worn out bra you got at the “cheap store” under this shirt!  I might also mention that if you are larger chested (like me!) you might want to consider going up a size as the construction of the back of the shirt makes it very form fitting.  And honestly, your getting fit so why wear something frumpy?

I was a little concerned about how the shirt would hold up in the wash but it did great!  The bow on the back is attached with a safety pin making it removable during washing.

Overall I was very please with this shirt.  I have been asked over and over where I got this cute shirt.  It has been a big hit!  Whether you are an avid fitness buff or just starting on your fit journey, any one of the Ruffles with Love shirts will be a fantastic addition to your wardrobe.
