See this seemingly sweet little kitten?  He is the newest addition to our home.  He is also a menace to my house plants.

The day after we rescued him, he took a big ole messy poo in my palm tree, then proceeded to scratch it all out of the pot and into the carpet.  To say it was a big, stinky mess would have been an understatement.

The smell was horrible and the kids all disappeared within seconds leaving me with the kitten’s mess.  Oh I love those kids.  Luckily, I remembered that I had a a new can of Non-Toxic Spot Shot Pet Aerosol!

Spot Shot is the leading carpet stain remover and odor eliminator.  They have recently introduced the new Non-Toxic Spot Shot designed specifically for the messes left behind by your pets.

This new formula permanently eliminates new and old stains, absorbs and neutralizes odors, and has anti-resoiling agents that protect your carpet and keep stains from returning. Non-Toxic Spot Shot Pet Aerosol is proven better than competitors on the most difficult pet stains, including urine, feces, vomit, and tracked in mud, dirt and oil.

Most importantly, Non-Toxic Spot Shot Pet Aerosol is safe for pets, kids and the environment. It is non-toxic, certified readily biodegradable by Scientific Certification Systems, and it doesn’t contain phosphates or volatile organic compounds.

Since I have Liam and Kinsley, a non-toxic solution to this messy cat problem is essential.  I went into the cupboard and grabbed the Shot Spot.  As I walked over to the spots, I was mentally counting the money in my wallet while wondering just how much I would need to pay out to pawn this off on a teenager.  The smell made me gag so much, I was willing to pay big money.

I bucked up and I sprayed the Spot Shot Pet on the spots.  INSTANTLY the smell disappeared.  I was a bit proud of myself because I just saved $20 on bribery. I waited the five minutes and then checked my spots.

The instructions have a blot/dry/repeat as neccessary process but I knew this task was going to take a bit more elbow grease.  The last part of the instructions allowed for water.  I went ahead and blotted and was surprised to see it had improved dramatically.  I added some water to the line up, sprayed again and waited.  I only repeated this process 2-3times and the stains were no longer noticeable.

These stains were a mixture of cat turd and plant dirt; two very stubborn stains to remove, but I was able to get them without much effort at all!

We have since tried Spot Shot on other problems areas, including non-pet stains like candy and juice.  Even though it is the pet formula, it stood up to the challenge and conquered!

I love knowing that Spot Shot Pet is safe for the kids and Eco-friendly, two must have’s in a cleaning product!

I still plan to try Hot Shot on some OLD stains left by my previous dog who had a few accidents while sick.

I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 grandsons (all male) and I am absolutely positive that I could find a use for the Spot Shot Carpet Stain and Odor Eliminator. Heck, I could use a case or two of it. The boys are always spilling something on the carpet, the dogs get in the trash and that is another mess, and the old cat has decided he doesn’t want to use the litter box – he goes beside it. I could get a tool belt and just carry around a can of that Spot Shot with me all day long – whip it out and shoot a shot at the latest mess, blot it and go on my way to the next mess.
