Our family packs a lunch daily for work and school. We have many products in our arsenal of reusable containers. We recently had the opportunity to try the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit and I must say, this is one cute and clever lunch container!

What makes the LunchBlox Sandwich Kit so unique is the many configurations available. If you just need a sandwich on the bottom cold, put the blue ice below it. If you need everything cold, put it in the middle. If you need the top cold, you guessed it…put it on top! The pieces snap together easily in each configuration and you can even purchase separate pieces and be the king of your lunchbox world!
These containers are pretty fabulous. Keeping up with the usual Rubbermaid quality, they are durable and since they are dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe, I don’t have to worry about the kids accidentally hurting them. The LunchBlox fits great in all the lunch boxes especially our MilkDot Lunch Tote. (see them both in action here)
We had on itty bitty issue with our LunchBlox. The very first time we froze the Blue Ice freezer pack, I just tossed it in the freezer. The next morning when I made lunch and went to stack it on, it wouldn’t stack. It had froze with a bulge.
I was quite disappointed because I absolutely LOVE the LunchBlox. The next day, we laid it flat and the following morning it worked perfectly! It’s just something you watch out for but the only issue we have had so far in the weeks we have been using LunchBlox.
