It’s Back to School season once again, with many kids already back in session!  This year is going to be a bit of a challenge for us because for the first time, my twins will be in separate schools.  Riyan is returning to traditional school, while Reagan will remain at the academy.

It’s going to take some preparation and a period of adjustment with two different school schedules and events!  How do you prepare you children to head back to school?  The Boys and Girls Club of America website offers wonderful tips sheets and educational content that parents can download and utilize for this busy time of year.  Just visit The Boys and Girls Club website and look for the links under the Get Ready section!

They have also teamed up with Disney and launched the Tools for Back to School initiative.  This initiative features a pop quiz game and for every correct answer you score, school supplies are donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America to benefit a club kid!

You can play the game here.  It’s a fun and easy way to help kids get the supplies they need to start school prepared!

JCPenny has also partnered with The Boys and Girls Club!  Join the JCP Cares and you can round up every purchase you make in August at the register to benefit The Boys and Girls Club! You can find more information about this program here.

What great opportunities to help other kids!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Boys and Girls Club. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

It has been years since my children were at the appropriate age to visit a Boys and/or Girls Club, so it is refreshing to hear that they have taken the initiative to assist with back to school programs. In addition, with JCPenney jumping on the bandwagon, it is pleasant news to hear.
