Last week, I made some yummy lemon bars.  As I was turning out the lights to go to bed, I noticed the lemon bars sitting on a plate still on the counter.  I was tired and perhaps a bit lazy, so I just took the plate and sat it in the fridge.  The next day, the kids got them out and after the first bite, complained that the lemon bars tasted like the refrigerator.  Way to ruin a perfectly good lemon bar, Mom!

I had to laugh when the very next day, what did I find in my mailbox?  The Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier!

Don’t let the small stature and sleek good looks fool you!  This Ionic Refrigerator Air Purifier is made to get the job done!  Simply place two double A batteries in, press the power button and watch your fridge go from smelling bad, to smelling fab!

The Oransi Ionic Refrigerator Air Purifier eliminates food odors, kills bacteria, reduces food spoilage and prevents mildew in your fridge!  Not only that, every hour, it sterilizes your fridge!

But how does it do it?  Well this bad boy uses patented, exclusive piezo-electric technology and has a built in micro CPU that intelligently controls the operation cycle and mode by one touch.  It will run for 90 days on the two batteries and comes complete with an LED light that allows you to know when it is working and even when the batteries are getting low.

What do we think?  Well, I was surprised at how small the Fridge Air Purifier is!  It is small enough to fit in even the smallest of fridge spaces.  We put it on the shelf and let it run a day or so.  I decidedly to test it out by putting a glass of water in overnight.  Previously, we could not leave water or juice uncovered because it would taste funny.

The next day, I tasted the water and it tasted like water.  Not onions or banana’s or any other strong smelling item in our fridge, but plain ole water.  The fridge itself was odor free which in our house, is no easy task.  I have kids rummaging through the fridge constantly and things get knocked over or uncovered, even hidden in back to mold.  I love having a clean, sanitary fridge!  Time to make some more lemon bars!
