Peaceable Kingdom Review and Giveaway

As a mother of six, I am always looking for ways to keep my kids entertained in the car or at home on rainy days when I hear the dreaded words “Mom, I’m bored”. Peaceable Kingdom has come to my rescue and has everything from Stickers to Write and Wipe Books to Games….lots and lots of games! Peaceable Kingdom has a fantastic selection of great games for your children of all ages, even as young as 18 months. The games are unique, full of wonderful color and fun!
The Early Learning collection includes ABC Match Up Games, Alphabet Blocks and Board Books. So even Miss Kinsley can join the fun and with her all time favorite book too…Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!

In addition to Board Games and Card Games, Peaceable Kingdom has Cooperative Games.
It’s a game where everyone plays together, no one is left out, and everyone has fun! Unlike a traditional game where there is one winner and one (or many) losers, in a cooperative game the players work as a team against a common obstacle, not against each other. Cooperative games emphasize play, not competition. Kids learn to work and play together in respectful and compassionate ways. They learn to share, make decisions together, and trust one another. Cooperative games encourage inclusion and build confidence. Most importantly, the kids play because it’s fun!
I love this idea. How great it is to teach children that working together can give you just as much satisfaction as winning!
My twins are getting to the age where they are not little kids anymore but are not yet teenagers either. It’s a hard awkward age of in-between better known as “tweens”. You can see it coming when they come from school and you ask how their day was and it goes from “I played kickball and learned fractions” to “OMG Kenna told Matthew I liked him and I almost died”. This age is not only difficult for them but difficult as a parent because gift giving is harder. You don’t want to even admit that time is inching toward make-up and boys!
Peaceable Kingdom has that covered too! When I saw the selection of Diaries, I knew it would be something that even my little “big” kids would love. Not to mention, it takes all that chatter about friends and boys and gives them a place to channel it. My twins love them! Every evening they sit down and write in them…about what I have no idea. But very important stuff I imagine. They make sure and keep them locked up tight with the little locks provided. Reagan even wears her lock around her neck.

We love Peaceable Kingdom and I want to send them a big Thank You for providing the twins with a couple diaries from their site. Not only that, Peaceable Kingdom is so generously offering you an opportunity to win one of their adorable games, This or That? for your children!
